Puccini Tosca opera scarf oblong 60" x 13"
This luxurious silk scarf is dripping with tragedy and of Mario’s paintbrushes and fluid paint amongst the images of the church of Sant’Andrea della Valle and the Castel Sant’Angelo (the scene of the Tosca denouement). TOSCA is spelled out in the scarf design that adds a modern dimension when worn. In the letter “A” find an interpretation of Mario’s painting (by artist Julie Anna Lewis) that starts as the music sheet for “Vissi d’arte” (“I lived for art”) by composer Puccini, then develops into the image of his beloved Tosca. Tosca would have loved for Mario to paint her to sooth her jealousies! The design is finished with Puccini’s signature.
Scarves are designed in the USA and hand-finished on luxurious silk twill.
